Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Y'all!!!!!!! My husband and I are BRAND NEW to RVing.. so you will probably be seeing way more questions from me than you could ever imagine... Hope I'm not a bother!
We are weekenders and we just bought a VERY small 2012 Jayco Swift XLS 145rb (16.5 ft long) We got our intro at the dealership and we are off to the local state park this weekend for our first trial run.
Look forward to visiting and learning from y'all here!
We are from Southwest Louisiana and my husband does lots of bicycle rides, both road bikes and moutain bikes... Most of them are just 1-2 or 3 hours from home... we also go to a festival once a year for a week held at a park... so we plan to load up the RV, the bikes and hit the road!
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. If you have even the smallest of interests in RV'ing, I think you will find camping and that lifestyle a really great thing.
Feel free to ask questions when you have them, and never worry about such a thing as a "dumb" question. There really aren't any of those, unless they are the ones that aren't asked in order to get an answer.
Enjoy the life.
Terry
