Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Less than a year and a half till we hit the road. We have the rigs and are already beginning the chore of downsizing the household. Will put the house on the market this May. Looking forward to a rally in the Pacific Northwest....hint..hint.

We've decided to give "extended travel" a try before full timing. Although we have Grandchildren in Michigan (5 of them) and Virginia (4 of them), I'm thinking summers in Michigan, spring in Virginia, winters roaming the south..We will see how my Vice President of Domestic Affairs feels about that.

Phil and Rudee are right!  That time flies by. 

Steve and I leave March 19th. We're in the MH and making final arrangements. I'm beginning to experience the roller coaster of emotions more than ever before.  I get weepy just looking at my grandchildren but I know we are about to begin a grand new adventure. 

We will be going to Oregon for several months.  Sure hope there will be a rally in that area!

Welcome, everyone on RV-Dreams is wonderful! They are so great at answering questions and give great advice.
We are in the same process. We are starting to clear out items and hope to put the house on the market this spring or early summer. Of course it depends on how fast we can get items cleared out to make it look more attractive. We sure have accumulated a lot of "stuff" in 35 years. :)
We are aiming for July 2013, but I would be thrilled if the house sold and we could go before then. Hubby says he will retire earlier than July 2013 if it sells.

I echo a western area Rally, Howard if you read this. :)
We want to go the the Texas rally but it won't fit our time frame. But we could maybe make a fall trip and we love going west!! :)
