Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are a family of 7 (me, my boyfriend, his daughter, and our 4 dogs) that is ready to hit the road!
I am a middle school Math teacher and my BF and I also own an advertising magazine. I have been trying to find an all-telecommunicating job that will support our life on the road, but haven't had any luck yet. We are all VERY ready to leave so as soon as I find that job, we will be off ! Hopefully that will happen by June/July 2012.
We have a 2008 Pioneer travel trailer and just bought a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500HD 4wd diesel to pull it with. It would be nice to have a bigger trailer for all of us, but I wanna keep the bills down so we are going to stick with what we have for now.
I look forward to getting to know you all and sharing our traveling experiences!
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. A lot of knowledgeable folks are here than can help with almost any kind of question. Feel free to ask them and the only "dumb" question is the one that didn't get asked. That is because without asking it, you may not get an answer.
Have fun with the research and planning and with the RV lifestyle.
Terry

Yonnie, I am a little familiar with Lake Forest because I have a 2nd cousin that lives there with her family. Virginia is beautiful, too, of course. I have quite a bit of family out there, also, and I don't blame you one bit for moving closer to your grandchildren . How wonderful to have triplet grand babies!
Congrats Michelle and Bob! Sounds great! I love your plan. We live in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and have been planning our getway for 20 years.
We just found a MH and are going through finance approval now. My wife retires next year from UPS and I will take my established own business on the road in 3 years.
Good luck to you and your family on your adventure.
Merry Christmas.
