Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Just joined the forum. Came across it while searching the net for info. Retired military turned entrepreneur wannabe. Just beginning to explore the possibility of RV ownership. Still following Dave Ramsey's debt snowball to eliminate as much debt as possible before retiring for good. Posting this post as first step out of lurker status. Thanks, Frank

Thanks Terry,
I have a couple of friends who are RVers, one with a motor home and one with a fifth wheel and both swear by them. I'm looking to probably start out with a small MH to use mainly for weekend trips and vacations for the next several years to see if RVing is for us. My wife might have to warm up to the idea, especially since we'd start with a smaller one...primarily due to cost and comfort/experience level with driving it.
We're just starting off on another business venture also, so it'll be another five years or so until we get all of these units (dry cleaners) up and operating before I could probably take any more than a week at a time away. The Send Out Cards business is something else all together that I've recently begun that I hope to continue in my retirement, when ever that occurs.
My HOA precludes keeping an RV at my house, so I have to figure storage costs into account also. Lots of things to take into consideration, and reading through this forums and other research will help me to gather the info needed to make the right decisions...I hate surprises, especially the bad ones.
