Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello Again

Hello everyone and a big howdy from Texas! I am sure that many of you thought we fell off the earth, but as a matter of fact, after we moved to Ft. Hood, TX in the coach, sold all of our stuff, we found out that housing in the town we were staying (Lampasas) was nearly as cheap as renting an RV site. So... we purchased a 100 year old original rock home in central Texas hill country. It is beautiful and we are so proud of our small home and our coach. That was one year ago, we lived in the coach for six months and loved it. Well... the Army just told me, "pack you bags" you are moving to Ft. Bliss in El Paso. So after a good amount of talking and debating we will be fulltimers once again in DEC and on our way to El Paso. This will be a short stay for me and then it is on to Afghanistan and the other 2/3s of the family will head to Utah while I am gone. WOW!! What an adventure. Needless to say we are going to use of home for a rental property and investment adventure and back to the coach. We enlist your prayers and thoughts as we head to El Paso. We will keep you posted! Blessings, Chaplain Troy

An Ol' Viet Nam vet prays for our Troops daily. My son just returned from his tour.
God bless, keep your head down. Your family will be in our thoughts too.

Thank you everyone! It is great to hear from all of you and thanks for the wonderful support. It seems that after 10 years of war, some of our country has forgot we are still fighting a war on several fronts. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

Many of us have not forgotten. Many Americans support our troops. I was in the Marines from 67-73. America has a great respect for it's hero's . This war isn't like Vietnam. There is an effort to end our way of life. We will endure. GOD bless you and others who protect us.

Chaplain Troy,

Thank you for your service to our country and our troops. I'm a 9 year Navy vet and understand those family moves, go and go now.

You are in one of our favorite areas of Texas, besides that our son lives in Temple.

When I retire next spring we may relocate to Texas to begin our fulltiming adventure.
