Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

FOLDING IRONING BOARD

We were at our local RV suplier yesterday and I was cruisin thru the household stuff when I saw something new (for me anyway).  It was a folding ironing board.  I picked it up thinking that I had to have one when my son came up to me and said "Oh good, now you can iron my wrinkled clothes."

It is really neat, but not for me - I walked away in my wrinkled shorts and didn't look back.

That's why we buy wrinkle free clothing....or run it through the dryer. No need to iron.

Another reason to have a dryer in an RV. Quick way to get rid of wrinkles.

I have a small foldable ironing board that I bought at Wal-Mart. I'm guessing it was probably quite a bit cheaper than Camping World would charge. I am a quilter and need to have an iron. I've actually only used it on clothing a handful of times :)

I store it under the sleeper sofa along with the iron and extra bedding.

What a wonderful idea K & E. I may have to reconsider. I have always wanted to quilt. I quilted a baby quilt years ago for my niece. I had it set up in my parents living room so my Mom put in a few rows and my Dad did also. Dad was embarrased when I asked who did it and told me to take them out. No way! Both parents are gone now and that just makes it more valuable.
