Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello- My other half Dave and I are starting our full timing life in a 23 ft. Coachman beginning this Friday. I just introduced us on the "indroduction" area of this site. Looking foward to meeting other full timers as we travel with our two dogs- Andy a 3 yr. old black lab and Mickey a 13 year old long haired golden mutt. (probably a mix of Irish Setter and Spaniel + Heinz 57's) and both are rescue dogs.
Our first "stop" is Houston Tx for a month to visit Dave's family.
Sheri- from Virginia

dczrose, We spent a Christmas week in Silver City a few years ago and it was pretty cold and snowed a few times. You might want to look at the average temps over the winter.
Here is a good site for many popular destinations.
You are going to have so much fun. It is so exciting to sit down and choose your next destination. It is even more exciting to actually pull out and head on down the road.
Welcome to the lifestyle. I hope we can meet someday down the road.
Vicky and Ira

Congratulations! Perhaps we'll meet some time down the road someday. BTW, is that enough space for full timing?!!! I can't even consider less than 38', probably more if we take the 3 kitties!

Silver City NM is going to be a mighty chilly stay during the winter. Most people do not realize that NM is a winter state for the most part. Last winter here in Santa Fe we had a continuous run of 15 days with the average temperature -24 degrees - yes - that is MINUS 24 degrees. Most RV parks mid NM to Northern NM close areound Nov 1.
