Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We here in the Owego and Binghamton NY area are really getting flooded ,we are high and dry at our house but power is out and we are currently running on MH generator, we have lights, coffee and computers so all is well and we do have the MH for showers and toilet , so we are faring much better than thousands in our area and the high crest of the rivers has not even hit yet...this is even supposed to be worse than the last flood here in 2006 and it was supposedly a 500 yr flood....looks like its going to be a real mess for the next few days
Well we are doing ok but poor Owego NY is inundated, power is still out we are in the MH w/gen running and feeding our neighbor with some power to run their sump pumps, Rt17/86 is closed in both directions and almost all the main roads in our area are flooded, This is the highest I have ever seen the Susquehanna river and they say its not done rising yet, and thank you for the thoughts and prayers
Hi folks - I put some updates under the "General Travel" Topic - I wasn't sure where else to put it.
Thank you for all of your thoughts & prayers.
