Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Got a call with a cash offer so we thought about it for about 2 seconds and jumped on it. We are workamping in SD, so we took a weeks leave and are now in Idaho emptying the S/B. Some goes into storage to keep DW happy, the kids get to choose from whats left and the rest will be donated. We sign papers Thursday and the rest will be handled fax and email, so we can get back to our commitment in SD.
We are on a roll, two weeks ago we were offerd a winter position in Az and took it, and now the house sells, We're on Cloud Nine.

Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts, and congrats to DGm and Huck on reaching Full Dreamer status. To everyone else waiting in the wings, keep the faith your turn is on the horizon.
We signed papers Friday left Idaho and were back in SD Saturday in our new permanent home on wheels. 922 miles in two days, hope we don't have to do that again, 250 to 300 a day is more than enough.
Congratulations Ron, Sharon, and Molly. We sold a few months ago (my how the time does fly) and the feeling was just wonderful. You must be sooo excited.
Have fun out there and maybe we will meet down the road sometime.
Ira and Vicky

Congratulations Ron & Sharon! I didn't realize that you had sold your S&B when I read your congratulations to us.
Even though, after some very serious discussions, we decided not to totally go fulltime but move into an apartment instead, it's still a wonderful feeling to be FREE...to be able to pick up and go wherever we want whenever we want and not worry about taking care of a house.
Even though we won't be 100% fulltimers, I hope being 3/4 timers still qualifies us as members of this wonderful group of dreamers.
And, if any of you know someone who'd be interested in a great truck camper, I would appreciate any and all referrals!!
You just lifted my spirits. We put our house on the market 2 weeks ago and I am already getting impatient!! We are not going to buy the 5th wheel till we get an offer but we are looking hard and cleaning and purging like crazy! I am so glad everything is working out for you guys. How long have you had the dream?
Thanks again for all the kind words, It took 1 1/2 years for ours to sell so for all of those waitng in the wings don't give up hope or your dreams it does and will happen for you too.
Ours finalized Monday 15th, money is in the bank, new owners are moving in and our old nieghbors have met them and all is good. We had really great nieghbors and it was important to us that who ever bought our house would be friendly.

Our home closed on August 16th and we are very happy. We get our new trailer on the 24th. A lot of work involved both before and after but it sure is worth it.
Hey Bob & Janet congratulations on the sale. We were also fulltiming before our S&B's sold. It sure is a wonderful feeling not to have that burden anymore.
Just accepted an offer on our home. Looks like we will close the middle of October. We stayed in our new 5er a couple of weeks ago for the first time and are excited to clean out the s/b and to join all you fulltimers!
