Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We're a small family ready for roadschooling! I have two small ones they'll be turning 1 and 4 in the next couple months. We actually have traveled a lot, and wanted to get an RV years ago, but didn't think we could afford it. We traveled for half a year and camped out in nature the whole time, when our first daughter was 1.5, it was beautiful, and awesome, she learned spanish and was potty trained during our travels.
Finally we realized getting an RV was really our only option for living the way we wanted to live, so we got one a few months ago. We thought we would find somewhere great to stay with it, and be able to drive it but that hasn't happened. We parked at an RV park and some family members decided to help us get a bigger/better one, so we're waiting on that.
Once that happens we're going to reevaluate our plan to get on the road. I can't wait to learn all we need to know to do this the way we really want!
I can't wait to meet you all and witness your journeys!
You've found the right place to ask your questions. Lots of friendly folks here that are more than willing to help.
Good luck with your plans.
Jim

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. In addition to the forums, a lot of participants also have blogs and travel journals. Those are especially helpful in a lot of ways. Some of the participants are even home-schoolers themselves.
Good luck with you dreams.

Welcome to the friendliest and most knowledgeable forum around. I wish I had booked mark a blog I read some time ago about a roadschooling family. Mom/Dad plus 5 kids covering several grade levels. They managed just fine. I cannot think of a better way to raise kids than by having them experience what they are learning. Rather than read about some place, they can experience it. I googled roadschooling and discovered lots of links. So you guys are not the only ones with this idea. Good luck with your plans. Looking forward to meeting you on the road someday.
