Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hope you had a wonderful anniversary. Congratulations! Mike and I will be 42 years August 24th. We were young un's - got married at 20 while he was still in college.
Let Jo and I also chime in with congratulations. Milestones such as this are great in that they remind us that at some point in our lives, we made at least ONE GOOD DECISION. Our wishes go with you as you chase us down that road of matrimonial bliss. Jo and I celebrated 42 years last Christmas Day.
Yes, we got married on Christmas. That was either so I could buy one gift and two cards or that it would be an anniversary that I wouldn't forget. (I certainly manage to forget her birthday...almost every year.)
Blessings on you in the future.
Terry

Just an update. I was of the thinking that this would be a good ongoing thread where you could post your anniversary "when you were having an anniversary". I do want to thank everyone for the good wishes, I am blessed with a wonderful partner and apparently a bunch of good friends as well. Thanks again to everyone and be sure to post your special event here when it happens.
We also celebrated 40 years of Marriage on June 15th.Four Children and Fourteen Grandchildren later we are still enjoying life and all its many adventures.Below is a cute story of another couple celebrating 40 years.
Enjoy life and live it to the fullest: Dale and Marian Hansen
After being married for 40 years, I took a careful look at my wife oneday and said ...."Forty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bedand watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep everynight with a hot 23-year-old girl.
Now ... I have a $500,000.00 home, a $35,000.00 car, a nice big bedand a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 63-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find ahot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once againbe living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bedand watching a 10-inch black and white TV.
Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems.
Our 20th was back on March 7th, but the real celebration was at the Palace Grill in Santa Barbara, CA on the 8th. It was Fat Tuesday and the Palace Grill is a New Orleans restaurant. Expensive, but well worth the price and memories.

Happy Anniversary! Great idea for this thread. We will celebrate our fourth anniversary in November. We met two months before we were married. We did bring into our marriage, 5 children, 6 grands, and almost 50 years combined experience.
