Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
My husband and I are getting ready to start our lives on the road.. In the process of downgrading on furniture and things we wont need.
Searching now for a used RV to start with, I am very excited about being on the road and meeting those around us that also live on the road.. We have alot to learn, I am looking forward to the challenge.
Welcome to the best site on the internet for RV information. This family of RV enthusiasts is the best for sound, no nonsense information on any RV topic.
Be sure to ask questions if you can't find the answers on you own. I want you to be assured that there are no "dumb" questions here. Everyone had to start out some time and most of us have been there and done that, so ask away and we'll do our best to help you.
Jim

Indeed, as Jim said, welcome to the gang. Please note that all of us have already asked every dumb RV question there is, so there are none left for you to ask.
Sounds like a great plan, enjoy your new adventure. I'm not sure what the best way is to locate RV-Dreamers other than looking at signature lines on posts. I seem to remember somebody had a map that showed locations of forum members but it required manual updates and soon was out-of-date.
