Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I started a workkamping assignment here at Millwood Landing RV and Golf Resort where we've been staying in Ashdown, Arkansas.
We really like the park and they've been charging us $600 a month (includes full hook ups,) Since Johnny's going to be working here in the area for a while and I prefer to be here with him, we asked if they had any need for workkampers.
Turns out they were looking for a part time sales admin to help in their resort sales office. With my computer and real estate background I'm a pretty good fit. So I'm working in their sales office 24 hours a week. A little tedious, but Johnny's working anyway so I might as well stay busy!

Just a quick update. Made it through week 1. The work's not hard. My biggest challenges are a little boredom (hopefully will go away as they busier) and trying to understand why they continue to do somethings the hard way... I'm sure we'll all learn a few things while I'm here!

I found out since work camping, that most owners want to do it "THEIR WAY". As long as they are not rude, yelling, or always giving one person the "Difficult Duties' eg: digging by hand, lifting heavy objects consistantly, I am quite satisfied. Besides, If they make work conditions miserable we can always move on. I hope this works out for you, cause their is more good thsn rotten apples. Pieere!
