Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Found your site while surfing for any RV information of fulltiming and seasonal wintering in a rv. This is such a great forum with lots of information to read and learn. Howard and Linda, you are pursuing our dream. Wife and I too plan to enjoy the rving lifestyle. Had a travel trailer several years ago when our boys were still young and living at home. We enjoyed the family outings together in the camper. They are gone and living their own lives with families now so we are planning our retirement. Hopefully in about 5 years, if the economy doesn't get too much out of hand, we plan to retire and start our adventure. Thanks again for such a great community her and we will be keeping track of your adventures.
You'll find that there's lots of friendly folks here, willing to help you live the dream of full-timing. So, be sure to ask those questions that come up as you prepare to live the dream.

Please allow me to say welcome as well. The true value of any forum is the "family" that participates on it, sharing their dreams and their knowledge. Since you've had campers before, I'm sure that you will be able to participate with many of the answers that folks are seeking.
At the same time, any questions you have may be just the one that has a different perspective that many of us hadn't thought of. So, ask away and be a participant in the RV Dreams family.
Now, as something of a "joker", I have to pose a question here. You're avatar has you standing with a fish. So, does that mean that Misty is shy or are you just NOT including her in everything you participate in?
OK. I'm kidding the new guy here, but I just couldn't resist. Sorry.
Never feel shy about asking questions. I've been researching this dream online and offline for about 3 years now and I'm STILL learning. Why, just last week, I learned things about portable waste tanks. (WOW!!!! That is exciting.)
