Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are selling our 2009 Mobile Suites Fifthwheel - 38RLSB3 and 2008 Ford Super Duty F450. Purchased with hopes of going full time but sometimes plans change. We are the first and original owners of both.
Great floorplan on this top quality DRV brand fifthwheel with the ability to create a separate 'room' with sliding doors between the kitchen and living room. Very handy if you have anyone coming to visit or like to have a separate space especially on rainy days - one person watching movies on the 40 inch TV in the living room, the other visiting, reading, working, or cooking in the kitchen/dining area.
Mobile Suites are the mid-line unit from DRV (formerly Doubletree RV). DRV is known for their high quality rigs, with excellent construction and insulation, including dual pane windows (great for warm and cold weather climates).
This is an extremely clean and well maintained unit, no smoking and no pets in either the fifthwheel or truck.
Besides the extensive standard list of included options, we also chose to go with the following additional options: King size bed, Sofa with air bed, Crossfire Maple Wood Décor, 40” LCD HDTV Home Theatre with Power Lift, 13Cu. Ft 4 door side by side Refrigerator, 3 burner range, Solid surface sink, Larger sink from Elite Suite series, Extreme smart sensor water pump and filter, 19” LCD HDTV in bedroom, flip down shower seat, 2nd 15.0 BTU ducted Lo/Pro AC, Heat Pump for 15.0 A/C, Comfort Air w/ rain sensor & remote control for kitchen and bedroom, Central vacuum, Generator prep auto changeover, Dual 6VDC Battery system, Power Management system, 17.5” Tires with 17.5” rated spare tire and Carrier, Hydraulic Rear Stabilizer Jacks, Level Up side to side hydraulic leveling system, Trailair C/P Suspension and Air ride pin box Tandem, 2“ receiver boat hitch with 4 way flat plug, 4 step entry instead of 3 steps, Power awning with weathershield and wind sensor, slide out storage tray, audible backup camera system, detachable ladder, Dania custom leather recliners with ottomans, Horst Miracle holding tank probes.
The Ford F450 Crew Cab Lariat has only 42,000 miles with tons of interior room and fully loaded. Seats 5 comfortably. 4WD, Towing Package, leather, heated front Seats, 42K miles, Truxedo Duece bed cover, spray on bed liner, 24K Reese Signature 5th wheel hitch, Dual Batteries, Heated Power Extending Mirrors, Power Sliding sunroof, Power sliding rear window, 6 disc cd changer, CB, Engine block heater, upfitter switches, Pressure Pro Tire Monitoring system, and many more options…must see. Extremely well maintained. All scheduled service work has been completed by an authorized Ford dealer.
This unit is available to be seen in northeastern Illinois or Door County, Wisconsin.
Asking $105,000 for combo, or if sold separately, $75,000 for Mobile Suites and $40,000 for truck.
Thanks Heidi! It really is beautiful, we are very sad to let it go. Unfortunately we bought it to full time and that is now not feasible for us for the next 10 years. Tell everyone you know it's available - it is in fabulous condition and has all the bells and whistles they added to the 2009 DRV models, plus we added more.
Sorry to hear your plans have changed. For those looking to go fulltiming, this is a excellent deal. We have been living in our Suites since Jun and in the winters in Kansas have had no problems.

Thanks Doris and Dave. It was a hard decision to come to. We spent 2 years researching RVs before buying this Mobile Suite. We are not giving up on fulltiming or at a minimum part-timing some day, but for now that dream is postponed. Hopefully someone else's fulltiming dream in this rig can come true and we'll see them out there in the future.
It was bittersweet as we said goodbye to our Mobile Suites and Ford yesterday. They couldn't have gone to nicer people. We'll be following along on their journey as they start to blog and hope to meet up with them on the road someday or have them visit us in Sturgeon Bay! We wish them many good times on their travels!
