Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
While this actually relates to a blog of a fellow Oklahoman, it starts out as a news story about her. I won't even begin to try to describe too much about her. I'll let you check her out yourself. Many of you will find it interesting because she shares recipes and has photo contests.
In essence, she is a mother of four, a ranch wife, author and a blogger in her own right. Her website receives roughly 22 million page views per month. One of the main reasons I am sharing this story is because she wrote a little piece about "Ten Important Things I've Learned About Blogging." I actually found that without her advice, I was already implementing some of her tips. It was definitely an interesting story and video at one of the links.
While she may very well NOT be an RV'er, I think she still has an interesting site.
Check out the links to the news story, her homepage, and the page where the "Ten Important Things....." are located at my blog at the following link.
I guess another reason that her site interests me is because back in our earlier lives we were both heavily into cattle and agriculture. Jo was raised on a farm in the Oklahoma Panhandle and her dad also ran cattle. I was raised in a small town and my grandfather had cattle as well.
I am quite familiar with chaps, saddles, and other products related to horses.
I think she is going to be a good read. (Other than the recipes.)
Terry
