Hello from Pa.  Best wishes in the process of freeing oneself from the stuff.  We have started in earnest and I am finding the more we get rid of the better we feel.  The real eye opener for us was when my in-laws had a public auction and all the treasures they saved for many years went for next to nothing.  Things they held on to thinking they had value have very little; and the kids sure don't seem to want it.  Best of all in the process.

Thanks Ken and Bonnie for the words of encouragement... Terry we live In Salina, both my wife and I were born here. I lived in Calif. for ten years and have been back to ks since 1978. Our early years of marriage were centered around the Chieftain. We started out living at an old farm house that needed a lot of work. At first we had no water to the house and relied on the Winnebago for bathroom and shower.

I don't know if we could part with the house but I do know we would like to spend more time in a warmer area. we love Ks. and this is a good central place for a home base if we decide to go full time. We have a few years to go before making any decision. Our oldest is married and living in KC, we have one in college and two still in school we all love to camp and full timing sounds exciting.

We've accumulated a lot of stories over the last 25 years and all the good ones center around camping.

Hey, Hello from Kansas.....Hello from Kansas!....We are currently living fulltime in our 5th wheel at Tuttle Creek State park.  Just waiting until the end of our old lives and the start of our new life at the end of March.

This IS a great place for fulltimers and anyone thinking of fulltiming.  We ran across Howard's and Linda's site about a year and a half ago when we were "just thinking" about it....All of these great people here helped make our decision VERY easy!

Yes, we are VERY excited about starting our travels in March...Heading to Florence AZ first.  We will be working for a company that provides the software and equipment for ticketing at music festivals.  We will be doing 7 festivals this year from April to October. 

AZ, NE, KS (Country Stampede), WI, CO, NM and the 7th to be named later.  We will have anywhere from one week to almost 2 months between festivals....so plenty of time to travel.

Not having any trouble staying warm and cozy.  We run our electric fireplace all the time.  We also have one little heater under the dining table (this is where i sit with my laptop), a small heater in the bathroom and one in the bedroom.  The one in the bedroom hardly ever runs.  We have a heated underbelly, so we run the on board propane heaters just enough to keep all our tanks unfrozen.  My husband gets a llittle worried about the underbelly freezing, so we also have an electric heater down there on low.  Also, we have a heated hose to the water so that doesn't freeze. 

All in all, we are having a cozy winter.....but don't want to have to spend another one in this weather...looking forward to warmer climates next winter!!
