Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Has anyone been to both shows? If you could only go to one, which one would you recommend? We would like to go to a large show before we decide on our fulltime rig. Also, which one has the most vendors for RV and camping acccessories?
Since the Hershey show moved the vendors to a place where no one can find them so the number is going down each year. Nick and Terry Russell of Gypsy Journal tried it this year and were very unhappy as vendors..

Hershey took a beating as far as the number of units in the down turn. They've started to recover.
At it's heyday I'd say Hershey was bigger but now .... hard to say.
Both will give you a broad selection of units to look at if that is the phase your at in your RV life. So I'd say go to the one you can get to easiest.
Been to both, Hershey twice and the last time was 2 years ago.We were at Tampa last year.DW agrees (which means I am right) the Hershey show was better and had a larger selection of rigs, but that was just before the “crash.” The RV and camping accessories vendors were about the same IMO.The advantage of the Tampa show is that it is in Florida in the winter.
Either will do you well IMO, but I would probably do Hershey if all else is equal – But Tampa and the surrounding area has a lot of appeal in January including great restaurants.
I have been to Hershey twice and Tampa once. I liked them both and really didnt see much of a difference. Tampa in January is nice and seeing as I live close to Hershey I would rather go to Tampa. (just to get the travel time)
Vicky
