Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Joan and I took the RV out to a local park for the weekend and invited the grandkids to come along. After a full day of swimming we wanted to dry the towels so they could be used again the next day. This was the first occassion to use the washer/dryer since we bought the RV in August. Read through the user manual and attempted to use the "Dry' cycle. The unit turned on and began to heat up, but would not spin. On our unit there are 3 dry cycles, Tried all 3 with the same result: unit heated up, but no spin. Then tried the Spin Cycle. No luck there either. I could hear the unit doing something, but no Spin.
Any suggestions?

I assume this is not a new unit so the shipping bolts should not be an issue. Best bet is call Splendide, they are very nice and will help you troubleshoot over the phone. The number I have for them is 800-356-0766.

I hope this is an easy fix for you. Here is a link to a tech manual that may help. Towards the end of the pdf file you will find troubleshooting tips. Tech Manual
our's did that and the belt had slipped off the pulley. We had taken the unit out and hauled it to Camping World for them to work on. They took the back off and put the belt back in place and presto, good as new.

Thanks all for your input. And special thanks to Phil Bob; took the dryer out of the shelf, removed the back and the belt had indeed fallen off the pulley. 15 minutes and we were up and running.
Thanks again.
