Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We attended the show on Saturday, thanks to Howard & Linda.

We arrived early before the gates were open.  We enjoyed our day at the show a lot, however the one thing I noticed as it seemed like LazyDays was everywhere or shall I say the salespeople, they were like flies.  Not bothersome, just that they rep a lot of different lines, both in the buildings and out on the show areas.

We are not in the market for a rig, we have one we still love, and saw nothing we like better.

It seemed like there were a lot more Class "A" only resorts present this year.  On the way home we took a ride thru the Florida Grande Resort in Webster, which is a Class "A" resort.

We are always on the lookout for info on campgrounds, since we are only part timers now, dreaming to become fulltimers.

Overall, I personally did not see any "bargains" at the show, but then I am an info gathering gal, who researches before purchasing.  We utilized this show for several years before we made our actual 5th wheel purchase and found it very helpful.

Being able to walk inside the rigs and "feel" the floors and touch and feel all the other goodies was invaluable prior to making our purchase.

Now we just need the time to hit the road!

We met many nice people at the show, one couple drove down from Georgia to look at certain 5th wheels and check out some local area campgrounds!

I also noticed all the people who brought their dogs to the show, which I personally feel is more about the pet owner than the pet, but I won't open that can of worms.  Lots and lots of people going in all different directions, as a human after 6 hours I was ready to head home.

All in all its a show not to be missed if you have the opportunity to attend.

PS - yes we saw the Heartland display, both inside and outside.

Looked for that model on the Heartland site.  Not there yet.  Sounds interesting though.

Dreaming and doing the homework necessary.

Looking at:
F-350/Ram 3500 type truck, possibly an Airstream or a smaller 5th Wheel.

However, there is still time to change the configuration, just a plan.

Sorry I did not catch up with you guys at the show.
Got hung up talking to a factory rep for over a hour, found out a lot of info on the 5th Wheel we want to get once we get our house sold.

Went on Friday to look went back on Sat to buy---got the fiver we wanted at a really good price--deals were being made, everybody wanted to sell us something, of course that is what the show is all about. I would tell anyone if they are truly intrested in buying, go to a show you can compare units side by side, look at others to figure out just what you like or dislike. Look for us in a few weeks in our new Crossroads Cruiser Patriot Edition CF305SK.
