Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
43 years ago today, I married my soul mate. As we move closer to a new live together living on wheels, I just wanted to share this moment with my RV-Dreams family. Thank you for the welcome extended to us and the fam,ily warmth we sense from this forum. You are all special people. So enjoy this photo from November 4, 1967. Happy Aniversary to my DW and best friend.
Let me be the first to congratulate you and your lovely wife, you both look better than ever and are an inspiration to everyone, see you on the road, Gene
Congrats! Let's see, your 10 years older than me and married 43 years compared to my 26 ... you're of the generation who got married while still in their teens! Way to go for keeping your commitment to each other over all those years.
Congrats! Let's see... I have to make it well into my 90's and Johnny will need to pass the century mark for us to match your current achievement. Here's hoping life on the road leads to many more happy years together for us all!
Hugs!

Thanks for all the comments. I could not afford a trip to Rome to marry DW again so I figured a public celebration with my forum family would be a good substitute. @Froggi - Happy Birthday to your daughter. @Jake62 - yep, we were 19. Members of both families said it would not last. I think we proved them wrong. @2rikker2go - we will be close. Go Live date is Spring 2012. @Ckerr - anything is possible @Melanie - 19 days would be 11/23. @Phyllen - Happy Birthday to Phyllis or Leonard. Maybe we can celebrate #45 around a real campfire in 2012. You guys are special and I look forward to meeting you.

Congratulations you both Jerry'n'Carol! ..And now you will begin the chapter of your life together "on wheels". Happy trails (travels)to you both. Love the picture! You guys look great. I first married in 1962 and first child was born in 1963, 2nd child in 1964, and final child in 1970. Unfortunately that marriage ended after retiring from the Navy. I'm glad to say I met the man I actually consider my soulmate in 1984...and I'm married to him (another Retired Navy man). ((Hugs) to you both!
