Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We have an appointment tomorrow to sign papers for a 2006 Crossroads Paradise Pointe 5th Wheel 30RL. We plan to use it for weekend trips, vacations and to visit the grandchildren!
It's 33 feet long and has many "extras"...mostly two big leather recliners!!
Sounds like a great rig! (especially those recliners) Your 5th wheel came along and the "just right" truck will come too I am sure. We are signing the papers tomorrow too
Well, first of all, congratulations to all of you. Thus, we are praying for a long, truly enjoyable experience with your respective RV's.
I know that over the years, we have always enjoyed the times we were camping. (Well, there was that week in Purgatoire River campground when it rained ALL WEEK LONG when we were stuck with two young boys in a 15 foot TT.)
Paraphrasing from Star Trek, "Live long and enjoy."

Terry, I bet that was quite a trip! We had two of us stuck in our b+ last winter at Casa Grande during a two day rain, wind, and sand storm and that was enough for me. Melanie, After two years of snowbirding in our B+ we are signing the papers on a 41' Mountain Aire DP tomorrow. We are full time now and it will be our home.
"live long and enjoy"...........you can count on it!

I think I may have skipped camping in a campground with that name! Paraphrasing from Star Trek, "Live long and enjoy."
The campground was first developed in 1976 and we camped in there for years on our vacations. Now, when we go, we go in late August, just before Labor Day. We have been finding that the only ones in the campground at that time are hunters. And, most of them are up on the mountains hunting. So, we pretty much have it to ourselves for a week.
But, you gotta like boondocking. While this campground is actually in the foothills of the Rockies, it is a beautiful place. Especially when the deer feed across the meadow. In spite of the name, it can be like Heaven.
GOOD STUFF, MAYNARD!!!!!!
