Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have spent a lot of time feeling "off", being stuck in one place. This world is too great, too full of beauty to waste away, always in one place. In trying to decide how to bring more travel into my life a few months back, I came across an RV. It all clicked. What better way could I imagine, than simply living on the road. And I wouldn't even have to give up my cat! So, although I have still not set foot inside an RV, I am determined to make this a reality. I still have a lot to learn, but this feels right. I cannot bear the thought of missing out on something beautiful because of fear. I hope that with the help of this community I will become prepared to make the shift into full timing. I noticed someone else in the forum use the term will-be. I liked that. I am not a wannabe, I'm a will-be.
You've developed the wander lust that most of us possess, plus the actual need to see things beyond your nose. Most of us think outside the box, it seems and that box is our RV, no matter what it is that we're driving or pulling behind us.
Go with it. Take that will-be now and make it happen! Good luck and bon voyages.

Welcome to dreaming the dream (will-be living the dream). You can learn a lot from others on this forum, and there's a lot of wonderful, experienced, people here already living the dream. Since you're just starting the planning stage, I would suggest going back and reading Howard and Linda's whole story. There is truly a tremendous amount of helpful information there.
