Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Obviously, Someone Had a Bad Day

We took our Mobile Suites into Lewis RV in Oklahoma City this morning to have a couple of little issues taken care of, specifically a back-up camera monitor that won't power up and to take care of the recall on the Xantrex inverter. When we got there, there was a brand new (purchased 9-2-10 according to the "dealer tag") Mobile Suites 38 footer with a vanity slide parked there as well.

It has the newer colors for Mobile Suites so we went to look things over. They had caught the back, driver's side corner of the Mobile Suites on something and had done some body damage both to the back end of the kitchen slide and the area around the electrical compartment.

We were told that the owner bought it at the factory and brought it home himself. The owner told Lewis RV that he had made the mistake of using the Love's Country Store auto lanes instead of the truck lanes.

I'll have to remember that.

Terry

Ouch!  Well, that's one lesson learned for them, eh?  When we stop someplace like Love's I pull our rig around to where "the big boys" are to fuel up.  Dave isn't thrilled with the noise and fumes of the big trucks, but at least we get safely and easily in and out.

What a horrible experience, to have your nice new rig ripped up.  I feel for them.
