Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Gypsy Journal Rally

Hey folks, been a long time since I posted (I do lurk from time to time). We are headed to the Gypsy Journal Rally in Elkhart. We'll arrive on Thursday or Friday. Wondering if anyone else is going (or there).

Other than that, life is still good as is married life. We just finished two weeks in Sturgis, the first time for either of us to attend the bike rally. What a blast! Met up with several HDT Escapee folks there.

Yesterday we bought me a new motorcycle...a 2011 Harley-Davidson SuperLow in Birch White and Sedona Orange. Stu and I hope to ride all of Route 66 next May and that was a major factor in my getting the new bike.

We also are planning to add a puppy to our household...we should get her in late September. Should be interesting!

So...love to meet up with anyone at the GJR!!!

Gosh it has been a while since you have dropped in here. Glad everything is still going great for you. You've been missed.

We were so busy our first year together that something had to go and it was the forums and a lot of blogs. Slowly working my way back into things...LOL!

Donna, your blogs (old and new) were the very first RVing blogs I read last summer!  Don't have a clue how I found you (search engine, I guess) but was very glad that I did.   I enjoy your writing style, and you have some great information from a woman's point of view!  Love that!!!

We're in Goshen, got here today.  Bob & Molly are there too and we'll be going back and forth to Elkhart to meet up with several RV-Dreamers that are at the Gypsy Journal rally.  We'll try to find out.  Let us know what site you'll be in and we'll meet up.  I'm so anxious to meet you!

We will be at Newmar down in Nappanee and hope we will be able to come up on day passes. The same story with the Escapade, unless Newmar finishes early.

(Currently camped in Portage, WI)

Kerri, so glad you enjoyed the old and new blogs. I think my style, or at least my content, has changed now that Stu & I are traveling together. Originally I sometimes had to search for things to write about. Now I search for time to write. LOL!

Bill, Jim & Dee...will post our site once we get in and get settled. We're outside Milwaukee right now...will ride to visit the Harley museum. We should hit Elkhart on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!!
