Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

2009 Forest River Cardinal - 40' 5'er Bunkhouse (36-2BH) SOLD!

We enjoyed our dream of travelling with our kids and are now pursuing another dream of owning a farmhouse.   We want to sell our big comfy 5er and purchase a smaller 5er or travel trailer for weekend trips or vacations.  We won't close on the property for another 6 weeks, so we will continue living in our RV until mid-October.

This model has been terrific for our family!  It has 2 A/C units, and arctic package that has R-22 for the roof and R-28 for the floor.  Heat and A/C is ducted to the 'basement' for climate control for storing many items.  We've stayed comfortable in temps from 14F in winter to 103 F in summer!  3570 lbs of carrying capacity is great for full-timers!

Weight info for your towing vehicle:  GVRW 15,500, Hitch Weight 2,050

The tires are G-rated, axles are 7000# w/8 lug aluminum rim wheels.

The floorplan includes a king size bed with full bath in the front and a full size bed and bunk with 1/2 bath at the rear.  The bedroom has a 19" LCD TV, cedar lined wardrobe and nice wood chest of drawers.  The kitchen has corian countertops, standard propane oven and 3 burner range, convection oven/microwave and 9' fridge.  Stacking washer/dryer is included.

Living area has 32" flat screen TV, fold out sofa with inflatable mattress and free standing table w/4 chairs and 2 bar stools tucked under the kitchen counter.

We're asking $31,000 for the rig and will try to figure out a way to post photos.

If you have any questions, please email @ roadscholar.family@gmail.com.
