Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I would like a manual that would be useful for a new full-timing family.  Not just a campground directory although we need that too-but all the tips for living on the road full time.  Topics such as road-schooling, budgeting (we are not rich), storing food and supplies in the motorhome, tips for a new driver ( we have a 36 ft class A and tow a Jeep), getting mail ( we are thinking of using Mail Express) and any and all ideas and tips for workamping.  I like the internet but would also like some manuals to read and log info in when we don't have wi fi.  I would like to buy some affordable books online but Amazon seems to be pretty expensive.  Any other ideas on where to find good used books would be helpful!  Thank you,    happy trails.     bluebird69

There is a ton of information on the internet and paper is cheap so I would visit the sites and print all articles of interest so you will have reading/reference material for the days you are without a Wi-Fi signal.

We tried to get our kids interested in "Full-Time RVing" when we left SC but they weren't up for the challenge. LOL   I wish we had done it anyway, I think of all the fun times we lost so we could be a slave to the S&B.  I wish you luck on your journey. Happy Camping.  biggrin

Try Used Book Stores. They have a large variety of books and magazines! Also, you might try Goodwill or something similar. We have a local American Red Cross Thrift Store and they always have a lot of Trailer Life Magazines, and Campground and travel books...just a suggestion.

Thank you so much for all these great links to websites!  I have a lot to look at now, and best of luck to you too!    bluebird69----Angie
