Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We're Jim and Carmel and we have been fulltiming now for two years. We both retired in 2008 in Houston. Jim from a position as HR Director-International from a global construction and engineering firm; Carmel as a Senior Buyer from a large Energy company. We sold our house in a Houston suburb and hit the road. We maintain a home in Corpus Christi which we rent out..just in case Carmel needs a anchor residence. We have been traveling mostly in the Northwest and are currently in Montana. We have tried work camping and will do that again in 2011. We travel with a newly adopted Terrier who seems to enjoy the travels and meeting new pooches at the various parks. Hope to see some of you in our travels.
Welcome to you both. Great to have even more folks with long time experience. Especially for those like me just getting started. This is such a fabulous community with a wealth of knowledge and friendliness.
Your blog looks great, I'm adding it to those I follow. Hope to see you on the road
Sherry

Sherri and I have been a little lax in welcoming new comers to this forum. We are on the road quite a bit and sometimes do not have good signals for the Internet. We are glad to meet you and hope to cross your path...
Welcome aboard! I've only been here about a week myself so even though I've not been officially promoted to the welcoming committee, I thought I'd sneak in a quick hello.
Noticed you're in Montana and were apparently staying directly across the street from us at Jim & Mary's! Sorry I didn't notice that last week. We were at Jellystone for 2 weeks and are now in Bozeman. Leaving Wednesday for Ennis / Virginia City area. If you're going to be in the neighborhood, drop a note.
