Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Almost Loaded!

So if you have your 5er almost loaded except for the last minute stuff and you still have empty drawers, empty cabinets and/or shelves and the cabinets are not totally stuffed to bulging....are ya doin' okay?

Your doin GREAT. The only problem is that one ALWAYS "expands to use all the available space" Remember this day...do your best to keep it that way.

Been living in ours 15 months. Still have plenty of room in some overhead cabinets. Even at that, I know there is stuff we could purge if need be.

Hope we can do that good but our drawers & cabinets are filling up fast, that is, except the few I can't reach.

That's terrific!! I am truly impressed!
I would add that if you have some things in cabinets, and some of those things are breakable or spillable, you might want to add something to keep that stuff from bouncing around. If there's nothing else you want to take, you can cut up some swim noodles for that.

But, like hamshog said, "You're probably forgeting some things!! :)"

We found out over the past 4 years we have lived in our 5th wheel that if we have not used something in the past year then we don't need it....Short of a First Aid Kit or spare tire of course. I think that has helped us hold down on items that just take up room and are not needed. I think you should have as many empty drawers as you can afford to!
