Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi everyone, I have started a blog reviewing the campgrounds we are staying at. If anyone is coming to Iowa there may be something here for you now. We start our travels in August most of these reviews are for parks in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area. In the fall who knows where we'll be?! I'm doing this mainly for us as it is a way for us to remember the specifics of where we have stayed. Did take a little trip earlier to Nebraska so a couple reviews from that trip too.

Fred, I definitely plan on doing that too. This site is just as much for us to keep a log as for others. If it helps others great, but you are right rvparkreviews is important so more people have access to the reviews.

You might be interested in http://www.rvnotebook.com/ as it allows you to track CG's data like costs, notes, and pictures. It also will track maintenance/repairs on your rig(s) as well as all serial numbers, model numbers, etc.
A blog is nice if you want to publish your data, but unless you are running the software you are not in control of the data. If the site goes down you lose your data. With this program you maintain control and backups of your data.

We do use the program but I've never tried to export the data. It may be possible to cut'n'paste from the screen to a blog entry. I will try it later and see if I can get the campground info into my blog. I see you're using blogspot.com for your blog so if I can make it work on mine then it should work for you as well.
add: I looked into this and I don't think it's going to be easy. The program uses Microsoft Access to store the data, and each screen is a form with fields you fill in. The cut'n'paste method is not going to work. It does have a notes page where you can free type data and it could be copied over. But for what I think you're trying to do I don't think it will work.
