Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV Dreams Lifestyles Magazine

Whatever happened to this magazine Howard?  When I click the links from mid 2007, I get something else entirely.   There were some really good sounding articles I would like to have read.  Did you put them somewhere else?  Hope Hope!

Any comment on my weather radio question from earlier here?

Sorry to be such a bother.   SO many questions running through my head.  But you've given me the shove to retire at 63 and forget waiting until FULL retirement.  It's JUST what I needed.

Can't thank you enough for everything,
Sherry

Hey Sherry,

That was something I thought was a good experiment that might have some decent financial results through Google Ads.  With good ad revenue, I was hoping to expand it and even pay authors a commission.

However, though we did get some great articles, that particular site was the only one we had that wasn't paying for itself, so I let it expire.  I have copies of the articles I had written, but ownership of the other articles remained with the authors.

Also, that particular software was a bit too complicated and I ended up having to do a lot of editing and spending too much time administratively on a site that wasn't producing income.

However, in addition to a bunch of other things, I may revive something similar (but better) in the near future.  smile

P.S.  I did finally answer your weather radio question.  Sorry about the delay and, by the way, you are no bother at all.  Sometimes I've just got so many places to look for things I need to respond to, I miss them or get behind.  smile
