Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
The big pieces of furniture are gone with the exception of our bedroom set, and we have a prospective buyer coming to see it this week. Our residence is a shambles with boxes here and there in preparation for a moving sale in mid May.
We plan to open up the 5er this week, do a trial loading of the basement and some other things. Had the truck oil changed and fuel filter changed and overall checked; that big boy looks good to hit the road!
Looks like the second week of June or along in there, we will move to a nearby RV park and then commute back here for 2-3 weeks to train the replacement management team. Our company will pick up the tab for the RV park.
After that, we'll head up the road a ways to Livingston, then to Nacogdoches for minor warranty work, and then we are northward bound! Right now we plan to go through Arkansas, Missouri and Illinois to Wisconsin. We are looking forward to our first workamping experience at a KOA in Wisconsin.
Our plan is to head back to Texas late September/early October. We will be doing some roving relief/interim management work for our current company. We'll see if that will keep us busy enough in the work department. We have other prospects in the works at any rate.
Busy and exciting time! Happy trails to everyone out there!

Sounds like you have made some great plans and everything is falling in place nicely. Hope you enjoy your workamping experience...sounds like a good one.
We will be camphosing at FDR State Park for a few months beginning June 1. We are excited and looking forward to being in this beautiful park....definitely an "it" factor.
Good luck with the finishing touches and safe and happy travels. :)
