Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

OMG! OMG!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT a week!!!!!!!!!!!  haven't been on to say anything because we didn't want to jinx anything, but................
We've been working hard to get rid of all our stuff and get the house cleaned and ready to show.
Moved into our old 5er last friday, house went on the market on Monday, at least one showing a day with 2 2nd showings on Wednesday and SOLD today at 5:45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin
We can hardly believe it...we are just too excited for words.....there are so many people on here that are better at them than we are!!
Anyway, we got only 3500 below what we were asking and are very pleased....especially since the winning offer started out 13000 below asking price.  We had not one, but two offers come in within 12 hours of each other, which i'm sure really helped out.
So, we will officially be fulltimers on May 28th!!! We will be on the road April fool's day(hmmmm, very appropriate) 2011.
Even though we didn't ask for any advice, we have been actively reading all we could about home sales and just want to say a big THANKS to all of you who unknowingly helped us out........
Next chapter will start very soon.  For now we just need to finish getting the house empty and work on selecting our new 5er....whoo hoo!smile

Thanks everybody.  We were out today scouting camping areas for long term stay.  We aren't leaving the area till DH quits his job next march, so need a place to call home.
Only choices really are two state campgrounds....one we really like and know the contract host, but no sewer sites and the other one has sewer sites but is 30 minutes away and not as pretty a park.....soooooo more decisions.
