Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Finally after two years of purging and a few setbacks in getting our home sold we closed today at 10 a.m Rocky Mountain Daylight time.We are finally" houseless but not homeless"( plagiarized from elsewhere on the forum). We are at this moment parked at Linda's Sister and Brother -in -Laws Farm for a week so we can complete all the necessary paperwork to get on the road and close out this chapter in our lives. The next chapter will be a dream come true that has been 5 years in the makings. To all out there who are working toward the ultimate goal , hang in there, it will happen. Some times, as we had to do, you have to be creative in reaching the goal and I will post in a couple days about that but for now all we want to do is sleep for a couple of days

George and Linda Glad to hear that you are finely houseless. Its great when things come together and you can move on to follow your dreams. Best wishes and enjoy your new rv lifestyle. Hope to meet you on the road some day. Tom and Cheryl
That's great news and I am very happy for both of you. I really hope that our turn will soon come. We are trying to be as patient as you have been. Congratulations and enjoy all you can.
I'm sure by now you've felt a big load slip off of your shoulders.
It just gets better from here, so rest up and finish those last details. Then you can "hit the road".
We'll be watching for you,
Jim and Linda

I am so happy for you. I know how frustrating selling your house has been. We have had similar experiences. Our house is set to close on May 21. It looks like it will really happen this time.
Best wishes to you as you hit the road. Hopefully, we'll run into you some time.

Sometimes the things you have to go through to get to where you want to be, just makes reaching that goal all the more sweeter. Enjoy and stay safe! --mike

We would like to thank all who responded. As luck would have it we have been socked in by a Colorado spring storm with extreme amounts of rain and high winds( had to pull slides in last night to be safe).Weather is supposed to start clearing somewhat this evening. We have pretty much wrapped up all we can locally and are now planning our next move.Plans are to head for Grand Junction, Colorado for a couple days so I can visit the new Car museum in Gateway Colorado then head towards Utah for however many days feels good then Go to the Grand Canyon for a few days. After that we will go to Vegas for a couple days then meander into California and use the 101 highway as a path North eventually ending up in McMinnville, Oregon the end of July.Who knows after that.Probably will be a lot of zig zagging involved.Hope to run into some of you out there in our travels.
