Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We have accepted a position with a campground in WI starting August 1! Sounds like a good match and with working there a bit this year we could return next Spring.
It is a little earlier than our initial plan of March 2011, but we are comfortable with the date both logistically and emotionally. July was too soon.
Our relief guy here will be leaving us after we return from camping April 4-9, so we'll be working 7 days a week and interviewing to fill his position.
Gotta get the ball rolling in making final arrangements, etc. We plan to visit the Escapees HQ while out camping in April.
Funny...July 1 start date made us both scared. With the August 1 date, all of a sudden it feels comfortable. Very little anxiety. What a difference 31 days can make, eh?
Wow. Can we say boondocking in WalMart parking lots on our way to Wisconsin?

I "Yippeed" on your other post, and I will add another here... "Yippppeeee"! That is great!!! Keep us posted so that those of us still in the S&Bs can live vicariously through you. I'm in AL, so I can totally relate to wanting to escape the heat and humidity!
