Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We are the Gilmores, Bob is retiring in March and Jacki retiring in May.  We will be traveling with our two shelties, Mollie and Pralines.  We plan on hitting the road the first of June, making our first trip to Dallas.  Our daughter is expecting in early June and we want to be available to babysit Addie, our 2 year old granddaughter, while we wait for Asher's arrival.
We have not purchased a motorhome yet, We have registered for the Rally in Myrtle Beach in April and are looking forward to all the new information about fulltiming we will learn while there. We are sure we will learn the most from you veterans. Bob worked in pricing with aerospace and Jacki taught at a university.  We are excited to join you all on the road.

  1. Jim and Linda,
    Will you be at the Rally in April?  We'd love to talk to you about Beaver Motorhomes.  Beaver's are our favorite, but we would have to buy an older one and would like to see what your experience with this model as been.

We began full-timing in August and it is an awesome lifestyle.....we love it!!
The rally is a great place to get started and jump in the forums and ask questions etc. the folks here are helpful and friendly!
