Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Any Dreamers in the Austin, TX area?

I'm new to this forum, but have been fulltiming for close to four years.  I'd sure enjoy meeting other members if you are in the Austin area.  I'm volunteering out at Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge for the spring.  Come join us at the Songbird Festival this April!

Hiya,

My husband Dave and I are in the Class of 2011, hoping to make the jump to full-timing in March of next year, if not sooner.

We are currently resident managers at a self-storage facility in Cedar Park, basically north Austin.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

Betty

The Escapees "Class of ..." BOF is having an all class rally in the Hill Country in April. We won't be able to make it, but know others coming.

Betty, Cedar Park is where I do my grocery shopping. Maybe we could meet for lunch some day.

Bill, I will have to investigate where that rallly is going to be and when. Thanks

When: April 13-15, 2010 (stay up to 3 days before/after). Mark your calendars.

Where: Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, Boerne, Texas -- full 30/50 amp hooks ups and rally building.

Cost: site cost is $26.40/night. An additional cost of $15 per person to cover the cost of food and supplies.

We have some exciting plans in the works: food, happy hours, games, activities, sky party, seminars, lunch while cruising on San Antonio's famed Riverwalk (optional cost).

More info at http://www.rvnetwork.com/index.php?showtopic=79475.

I thought it was closer to Austin than it is.
