Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We stayed there many years ago for a couple weeks and a good friend stayed for a few months a couple years back. The sites are very large since they are meant for mobile homes. The people in the mobile homes are not that friendly to those in RVs, but are easy to ignore. The surrounding area is depressed, so if you can't handle being close to the poor you will not like it. Close to the Keys, close to Miami, close to Everglades National Park.
What do you need to know?

I've lived in South FLorida my whole life, currently in Miami. What are your interests and needs and perhaps I can give you some advice.

We are wanting to know the condition of the park and if it is a safe park to stay. We use to live in the keys and would like to  back for a visit, but all the parks there are much too expensive. I know that Homestead is a rather poor community and mostly concerned about our safety and are our belongings safe. we have stayed in campgrounds where you do not even have to lock your doors when u leave.

Goldcoaster is a gated park. I didn't feel unsafe when we stayed a few years back.

Hello, I’m randy, i live in Alabama. I just recently stayed at GoldCoaster homestead. I’ve got to tell yaw, the management treated my wife with a racist tone. Trust me, im a honky my self and I dont neither disrespect anyone nor am I a racist. I was very disappointed that they had talked down my wife just because she is Hispanic. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody, trust me. They place isn’t ugly, but the people are ugly

Stay far away from this RV park!

Constant rent increases, nasty management, and I have been burlarized twice.

Most all of us here live on Social Security and my rent has increased about $200.00. that's almost half of my total income.

I complained only to receive a letter saying "Thank you for your long residence here and our real estate agent will be happy to help you move"

One lousy park!
