Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Greetings all! I must confess I've been lurking and reading and researching for about a week now and have decided to join the conversation and family.
After we returned from our annual 2-week rock climbing trip to Las Vegas over Christmas, we decided that it was time to liquidate the house and cars and hit the road. It is something we have always known we would do and now we have reached a point in our lives where we are burnt out and ready to simplify. Could this be our mid-life crisis?
My husband and I plan to travel the continent rock climbing and mountain biking as much as possible. We will probably need to work some, but it will be better than the office drudge we have now. The plan is to put the house up for sale March 2011 and be on the road June 2011.
Let the adventure begin!

Congratulations! We were where you are about 6-9 months ago. Be careful, once you make the decision, things happen really quickly. :) When we first started discussing it, we gave ourselves a target of 1 year, but as we started to get serious, our timeline kept shrinking. We're hoping to be on the road in just a few short months!
I notice on your profile that you're from Denver. We live in Golden, at least for the next couple of months :)
Welcome from another Coloradoan. Sounds like you have a great plan. We have a lot of experience and knowledge here so feel free to ask about anything Rving and you will get an answer.
