Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Mary and I are planing to head west to Arizona in June. She wants to see Sedona and I want to see the Grand Canyon. We don't really boondock, but I need some inexpensive suggestions for places to stay for two weeks at a time. From there we hope to head north to Wyoming and Yellowstone. ------------------------------------- Clark, Mary and two stupid dogs 2009 Rockwood Ultralight 8280 2009 GMC Sierra HD
We enjoyed Deadhorse State Park in Cottonwood about 20 miles south of Sedona.
For a good way to search, I would suggest looking at RV Park Reviews at http://www.rvparkreviews.com/
Just put in towns you want to visit and you can find out what many people think of the parks in the area. You'r egoing to some wonderful places, enjoy the trip.
For Grand Canyon, stay at the one inside the park. I think it's called the Village? Shuttle bus stops at the RV park entrance, grocery store is really close, short drive to all attractions, and the wildlife is abundant.

I agree. The other campgrounds are too far away and this one is reasonably priced. I can't help with choices for the North Rim, but for the South Rim the Grand Canyon Village campground is quite nice.
