Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Just One Passport America?

Perhaps a silly question, but I found two different Web sites for "Passport America"   http://www.passportamerica.com and http://www.passport-america.com with two different phone numbers, mailing addresses, etc.

Basically the same info, just laid out differently on the sites and different contact info.

One in the same?  Or one and a wannabe?

Thanks!

I believe there's only one Passport America. The second site may be a reseller, or a scam. The first site is legitimate.
If you are going to be a fulltimer, membership is a no brainer, It only takes a few nights to recoupe your cost.

Go to the Escapees web site and use the search function. There was a long discussion about that and it was kind of complicated.

slightly off topic but if you are considering puchasing a membership they do have lifetime memberships. They don't advertise them but all you have to do is ask when you call. I think the price was in the $350 range a couple of years ago. We have already recouped our fee and still have a "lifetime" to go.

Interesting...  we've been PA members for years and didn't know there were 2 separate companies, having joined and always renewed at the Crestview, FL location.  I checked on the Escapees forum and found that the original owner Ray Fernandez passed away a few years ago and left half of the company to his son and half to his daughter.  Guess they couldn't get along so they operate the same company from 2 different locations!  The memberships are evidently good at all of the parks no matter where you join or renew.  Weird!  Brings meaning to the saying "Can't we all just get along?" confuse
