Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Sturgis 2010

Heading out to Sturgis next year and looking for some ideas on RV sites.  We have a Cyclone 3950 hauler.  Looking for something with nice amenities like pool, live music, etc without the wild partying til the wee hours...any advice?

Good luck finding something without the partying etc.

We were at Sturgis in 1999, yes I know that is a lifetime ago, but even back then it was wild and crazy.

We stayed at a truck stop in Rapid City and it worked out great for us because we were only home to crash as we were off riding from morning until night and Rapid City was a great location to head out in either direction.

It is amazing how a small sleepy town for basically 51 weeks of the year grows to overflow capacity of people.

It is probably some of the prettiest country and amazing riding!

We stayed at a very laid back campground called Fish N Fry in Deadwood. It's only 13 miles from Sturgis. You might check out http://www.sturgis.com/campncabin.html for a lot of information on the plans for 2010. You might think of making reservations now as the whole area really gets crowded, it's not really set up for 400,000 visitors.
