Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Updates

So we closed on our house on November 3.  I haven't been able to sign on and make any updates because we haven't had any internet connections.  :(  Right now my daughter is at therapy and I snuck away to the library to get online for a few minutes.

We have bought our RV but are not living in it.  A couple from our church has offered their vacation beach house to us for free until the end of January.  We couldn't turn down free lodging for three months. :)  So we have the RV and are getting it ready to live in.  We will be moving into it at the end of January.  It's exciting.

We ended up buying a 2004 Fleetwood Prowler.  It's the first one we looked at back in August when this all started and it's the one we decided was right for us.  Wednesday we are headed out to go to North Carolina for Thanksgiving and when we get back we are going to be staying in it for the first time.  :)  I am so excited to use it.

There has been a lot going on lately and I'm grateful to have a few minutes to breathe and play online.

Tonya,

Thanks for keeping us updated.  Good luck on beginning this new phase in your journey.  Also, thanks to you and Zach for your service.  I include you because I know it is rough for the families of military personnel as well.

Just out of curiosity, what model of Prowler did you buy?

Terry
