Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Goodbye boating....Hello RVing....Love it!!!

Hi Everyone....we are Ron & Jan Sulick from Palm Coast, Fl. We have been avid boaters for the past 30 years but have decided it's time to realize our dream of seeing this great country without being anchored to a waterway. We sold the boat
and bought our first motorhome. 8 months later and  absoulutely no regrets...we love it!! We may not know exactly when or what our next home will end up being (another 2 years until we can fulltime it) but we do know that we know, that this is the lifestyle for us! Thanks to all for sharing!!!!

Greetings, Ron & Jan!

Like yourselves, I, too, came up the gang plank from boating to RVing. Over nearly thirty years, I had power boats ranging from pocket cruisers to a Mainship trawler and in the power realm and sailing craft from 25 to 33 feet.  I sailed the south Atlantic coast out of Savannah, GA and made the transistion to motor homes close to ten years ago.

There are so many facets of boating that are literally tranferable to RVing.  It is a different world, but equally as pleasurable.

Welcome!  You have found the best source of information, friendship and encouragement around for this transition.  We travel out of Jacksonville.

Enjoy!
