Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Real estate for sale

My wife and I are currently liquidating all of our assets so that we can begin a new adventure in our lives as full time RVers.  To that end we have decided to try to sell our home on our own before working through a realtor.  We live in Myrtle Beach, SC in a very nice Charleston style home in a Charleston style neighborhood.  The house and all of the furniture is only three years old and is immaculately kept.  We are 10 minutes from the Atlantic, 3 minutes from the Intracoastal Waterway and 20 minutes from shopping, restaurants and other types of amenities.  We will sell the house fully furnished (to include all lawn care equipment) and have an asking price (fully furnished) of $246,000.  The house is approximately 1700 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 and 1/2 baths, a screened in porch, unattached 2 car garage and sits on about a 1/4 acre sized lot.  We are not in the city limits of Myrtle Beach so our property taxes are very reasonable.  We just received our tax bill for this year and they are $650.00 for the entire year!  I have developed fliers to include pictures that I will email to anyone that may be interested.  If you know of anyone looking for a beautiful place, please have them drop me a line at jracpd111@hotmail.com

You might want to post the sq. footage and as to how many baths, bedrooms. Lot size also is important to many...we are buying another home here in N.M. after 3 yrs of full-timing.

I added a little more info than you suggested, such as yearly taxes, unattached garage and a screened in porch.  If you have any other suggestions please feel free!

Thanks again,

Jerry

Jerry and Sue,

You might also want to try posting on Craigs List.  There is also a site called ForSaleByOwner.com but I'm not sure how much they charge.

Good luck!
Colleen

Craigs List is free. We have our Elite Suite RV and F550 truck for sale on that site.
