Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Let us say Hello

Hello,

I would like to stop being a LURKER and join in on the fourm... I have follwed Linda and Howards travels from the beginning...it has been so much fun traveling along with them to all the new places they go...
Let me introduce myself and my husband... We are Ed and Patti ... we live in South Central Pa near the Gettysburg Battlefields.... we are in our mid 50's  and are planning to put our house up for sale soon...The realator is coming after Labor Day to look it over.
We have 2 grown children and 2 grandsons..all who live close to us and we see almost daily..
We have a 30 ft 5th wheel and a BIG BLACK TRUCK... I am not a truck person so don't ask any questions about it..lol...My husband has told me it will tow just about anything we have looked at...
I don't know if we will become Fulltimers just yet.. I don't see myself leaving my grandbabies just yet..but we may become semifull timers with me working traveling jobs as I am a Occupational Therapist and my husband doing something like workcamping.  We have a camping timeshare that would allow us to live in the area in the area March - Oct  and than I would do traveling jobs in the fall and winter.. I think I can manage being away 12 weeks at a time...

Well enough of about us... want to say "Thank You" for all of the wonderful information you give ...I will be sure to drop a line in as to what we are doing as our plans progress.... Two Travelers ed and patti

Welcome Ed & Patti! We too are planning to work on the road and visit grandbabies in Pennsylvania. You've found a great resource for all your questions. The folks here are kind and very helpful.

Best of luck with all of your plans!

Welcome Ed and Patti. Traveling with an RV is nice whether you are part-timing or full-timing. We enjoy seeing new sites as we go from place to place. We are happy to have you join the forum. Please share with us as you prepare to travel. We went through you back yard [not literally] as we explored Gettysburg battlefield the end of April.
