Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I don’t post that often but as others have said this is family and I wanted to share our exciting news with all of you. After three years of research we have made our decision and ordered a new Fifth Wheel. It is an Excel Limited 36GKE. If all goes as planned we will move into it in April 2010 and work until August, retire, and begin our new adventure. We are very excited, I know the time will go by fast and before we know it we will be going down the road. I hope to begin a blog of some sort in the near future I will post it when I do. Until then only 377 more days.
Congratulations & good choice! We liked Excel's very much - they're really a nice rig. I hope everything goes well with the delivery and wish you the best of luck in your upcoming adventure!
Congratulations Ken and Sara. I believe you will be very happy with your choice of RV. Jeanne and I have been living fulltime in our Excel for 2 years now and love our trailer and the lifestyle. We were taking a walk through the park tonight and commenting how very blessed we were to be living this way and being able to see this great country of ours. We prepared for over 2 years for our transition from our house to buying a trailer then truck, selling everything and then moving into the trailer as we finished our jobs, then finally hitting the road. We have been traveling and volunteering in many states and provinces ever since. We still get excited as we plan where we would like to go next year. Best wishes as you prepare to fulltime. We look forward to seeing your blog. Our blog is list on the forum.
God bless, Allan and Jeanne [Dream Reachers]
