Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
WOW! This is better than Christmas! We actually bought an RV after 8 months of talking and planning and going back and forth on the decison. We'll be picking up our 2008 Newmar Ventana on Sept. 1 and driving it back to NC. We're still deciding on the toad. Any help with deciding between a Ford Escape and Honda CR V? It's us and two big dogs so we need the cargo space.
By the way this is the absolutely the best website on the web for RV info.
That drive back, the packing of the RV, the very first camping trip, will all be exciting times. And, if you go full-timing, that will be the most exciting.
Have fun and keep us informed about your adventures.
Jim

Congratulations! The planning stage is fun & exciting but no comparison to actually pulling the trigger! Good luck with your new rig. You're in for some fun times!
We also tow a Honda Element and love it. We debated the Cr-V vs Element but with seats folded to the sides in the back there really is a lot of room. Also really like the extra room in the front because I do most of the driving and my husband (who is not tiny) has plenty of room in the passenger seat. CR-V was a little cramped. In order to tow 4 wheels down (without some additional equipment) you must get one 2005 or older. Welcome to a wonderful way of life. After 3 years we still love it and feel very blessed to be able to live the way we do. Brenda
