Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I know I've poped into the chat on occasion but I wanted to say an official hello! My hubby and I are in the process of getting the house ready to sell and hoping to get out of Vermont before winter comes again. I'm not holding my breath but I'm an eternal optimist!
I'm a research geek and from what I've read and researched, I think we're looking at getting a class A so that our animals may travel more easily. We've done some touring at a couple of dealers and I'm full of questions! I've got books and I'm researching financials and.... well, I'm gonna stop before I scare all you nice people away....
Anyway, thank you all for being so welcoming and for sharing your experiences!
Nessa

Wishing you the best on your future plans. My wife and I are fulltimers, volunteering in a Vt. state Park until Oct. then heading south for the winter. I must say that we have really enjoyed staying in your state. The temperatures have been great and the scenery is beautiful. We wanted to stay to see the fall colors, hear they are outstanding.
We have a fifth wheel trailer which our cat loves. When we travel she rides in the truck and lets me know whenever I hit a bump.

Those of us here on the forum welcome you and wish the best for you in your endeavors. Might I make a small suggestion. Investigate the option of selling you house at auction. We did and were wonderfully satisfied with how quickly everything was over and we had the money from the sale in hand. It might not be the way to go for you but since you like to do research, it will give you another option to selling through a real estate firm or on your own.

Glad you decided to join in on the forum. Don't worry about scaring off the people here. They're a tough bunch, so ask all those questions. They can handle them!

Welcome to RV Dreams! My hubby and I are also from Vermont - been traveling for the past year and working our way back home. We're relocating to Florida this fall.
Sherri and I would be remiss in not saying our Hello. We love to see new folks come on board and visit with us. We have lots of room and enjoying hearing about newcomers and their plans. Keep in touch and help us answer questions and if you have some....let us hear from you.
I'm currently reading RV Living in the 21st century and already have a list of questions. I'll get my thoughts in order and post on the appropriate topics.
Again, thanks for being so welcoming!
