Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

new kids on the block

Well here goes, my wife and I are looking to go FT in two years when she retires from 40+ yrs in nursing, I'm retired Air Force and we are used to moving around the country. So what better way then the 5th wheel it. We've been looking and have seen some pretty nice rigs. Impressed my wife! So any and all info will be gratefully accepted at this point. Great reading all the blogs. Keep us in mind.

Welcome to the RV-Dreams Community. You will find this a very friendly and informative site. My husband and I are retired Navy (one of our son's is in the Air Force and is due to retire in the next year or two). We have camped a lot over the years....first tent and sleeping bags, then C-Class and now we are moving up to a cozy 5th Wheel. We expect the 5ver to be delivered mid July and we can't wait!!! We have dreamed of being able to cruise around the country in a 5th Wheel once we retired. Well....that was back in 2003 and now finally we are going to be able to do it!!!

Welcome to the forum! biggrin

Two years should give you enough time to buy that 5th wheel and get set up to go full-timing. There's lots to learn, but there's a lot of info on this site with a very friendly bunch of people willing to answer any questions you may have.

Good luck with your plans.

Jim

Happy planning and dreaming! It seems everyone gets really giddy when there's another dreamer on the path! We found so much great info and advice along the way so far through this site and it's members.
